Everything you need

20+ Years Of Full Stack Development Experience

From graphic design to consoling into a terminal and deploying a server or batch procesing hundreds of thousands even millions of rows in a database. I've been there and can provide insight and guidance for many if not all aspects of your development and design challenges.

Infrastructure and Orchestration.
At the foundation of most projects is the server. I understand the challenges of getting code from the text editor to the server and costs associated with it.
Monitoring and logging.
At the core of problem solving is the pursuit of comprehension. I have mastered the art of teaching myself what I don't know by using tools that provide insight and by keeping my finger on pulse.
Project Lifecycles.
A great way to measure success is by quantifying goals. I bring a histroy of understanding time and resource management to keep projects on budge and on time.
Advanced security.
From PPI / HIPAA compliance, to credential rotations and VPNs I can help you navigate the many challenges of protecting your IP and adhering to laws and compliances.
Applications and Scripting.
Elixir, Ruby, PHP, JS, Python, Rust, Java, Action Script. Since about 2004 I've been writing code using many languages. Knowing the right tool for the job is something you learn by doing and I've been doing it for a while.
Database And Object Stores.
Applications and scripts are only one part of the solutions. I have a background of using different databases and asset storage solutions at all levels of scale and redundancy.

I offer affordable and flexable prices.

Whats in the tool box?

Here is a list of my perfered technologies.
I truly enjoy any opertunity to work with any of the following.

Elixir

Elixir Lang

Elixir is the first in my list because it offers the most versatility to the wide range of challenges most web development projects have. With elegant solutions for addressing concurency, distrobution and even fault talerance it's a power house of solutions when paired with the phoenix framework. Elixir is not a silver bullet, rather more it's like buckshot. It's domain is just so wide and there is so much depth to the variety of solutions it can offer. For these reasons it remains my first go to when solving web domain challenges.

Python

Python Lang

While I do very much enjoy elixir I also would be wrong to ignore all the amazing things Python has to offer. With support of it's math libaries and it's ability to procese tensors Python still remains a huge contender in the AI emergin markets. While not necessarily my strength or preferred language Python still has a place in my toolbox when and where the need arises.

Ruby

Ruby Lang

When paired with the Rails framework, Ruby excels at creating robust and maintainable web applications quickly. It provides conventions that streamline development while still leaving room for customization when needed. Ruby's focus on readability means you spend more time solving problems and less time deciphering code. I built most of my career around building web applications in Ruby, while it maynot be my first go to anymore I still find time to support exisiting applications with it.

Rust

Rust Lang

Rust stands out for its focus on performance and safety, making it ideal for OS applications and WASM. Rust's expressive syntax and ownership model let you write efficient code without sacrificing readability. While I don't have as an extensive background with rust, I never shy away from the opertunity to use it.

Phoenix Framework

Phoenix Framework

When paired with Elixir, Phoenix offers unparalleled performance and scalability for web applications. Its real-time capabilities with channels make building interactive features seamless. Phoenix's emphasis on developer productivity and maintainability ensures you can build robust systems efficiently. Phoenix and it's liberay LiveView is what currently powers this very site and remains to be my most favorite framework since 2017.

Vue.js

VueJS Framework

While Phoenix shines in real-time and back-end scalability, Vue.js specializes in offline mode support and progressive enhancement capabilities making it ideal for single-page applications.

Svelte

Svelte Framework

In the relm of SPAs I'm finding it more and more enjoyable to create Svelte applications due to the direct and dead simple way they are built. For this reason I will always be on the look out for opertunites to work in it.

Tailwind CSS

Tailwind CSS Framework

I really can't say enough good things about tailwind CSS and just how fast I find it is to design great looking websites. There is also a ever growing wealth of resources on the internet to get you bootstrapped.
